Safety Equipment Checklist

Safety on the water is paramount. Ensure you have the following:

• USCG-approved life jackets for all passengers
• Throwable flotation devices (e.g., ring buoy)
• Fire extinguishers, accessible and up-to-date
• Flares and signaling devices
• Whistle or air horn
• First-aid kit fully stocked
• Sound-producing devices (bell, whistle)
• Visual distress signals (flags, lights)
• Emergency radio and EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon)
• Backup flashlight with extra batteries
• Emergency blankets
